During my time in college I had the privilege to study with greats like Dave Dicenso, Kenwood Dennard, Francisco Mela and Tia Fuller.  I come from a Rock/Metal background playing throughout the music scene in my hometown (Sao Paulo, Brazil). Along the way I have performed and recorded a big array of music genres/styles going from Rock to Brazilian Rhythms, Jazz Fusion, Metal, R&B, Afrobeat and Pop. My latest project as a leader is Barril, a groove oriented group that fuses contemporary Brazilian music with the Afrobeat tradition.  
As of 2023 played on Watsky's Intention Euro Tour and with NYC's punk band Dead Tooth on their Midwest Tour.
